Image Recognition Plugin for Linux I was very impressed with the tools but unfortunately we do all UI work with Flex(Flash) so we cannot utilize the free Mozilla version of iMacros. I attempted to download the Image Recognition Plugin but quickly realized that it does not work for Linux (Windows only?). Considering the large number if sites migrating to Flash and the number of web developers using Linux (and Mac) it seems like a logical choice to deploy to an OS other than Win.

Visual Web Ripper is a good product. It brought web scraping to people that don\'t know php or any other programming languages. it does logins fills forms in.Its all point and click. There is a learning curve but once u get the hang of it your good. I use it for everything. I rate this 5 out of 5 stars it was definitely worth the investment..

I’ve been trying to extract data from this news website with a few different web extraction tools, but apparently the website has an unusual content layout (unstructured), and the tools just didn’t work. It’s working perfectly now with Visual Web Ripper, but it was a bit tricky, and I had to get the guys from Sequentum to create the web extraction project. They did it for free, so I was quite happy with that.

Hello,I have read through the documentation and have loaded your product to a windows XP system. I have yet to set up a web extraction but intent to do so in the future. I would like to say that I have another system, a Windows Vista system that I have tried to download and install your product on but am getting an error code 2869 so I decided not to install it.Also you should be aware that I located another site and downloaded what I thought was a visual web ripper application in the form of a Codex.exe. ...

This product appeared to show promise, where I was looking for something that could enter in data in bulk to a Web form. However, I had difficulty getting data from any column in the spreadsheet besides A. In addition, the product kept crashing Internet Explorer and I would lose project information. Overall, although this does seem to be a tool that would solve my problem of bulk submissions to a Web form, the instability is too big of a concern.

The at this point has a few issues although it is easy to make the macros. They crash IE for no apparent reason.

Hi,I've downloaded imacros-setup.exe & installed the application. Also attempted to record a flash script. But whenever I tried to play the script, it showed me an error "Could not find macro: (Error code: -350)". Even when I executed 'Demo-Flash' & recorded the steps of calculation, it showed me same error after clicking on 'Play' button.Kindly explain me what should have to be done to get rid of this error & successfully record & plaback the flash scripts. Please do provide the price mode (i.e. Open source / Paid).Tejas

my first impression on iMacros Web Automation I have tried it, its work with macromedia flash(Rich Internet Application).. cool

The program appears to be straight forward, however not being familiar with web page building I\'m sure there will be learning curve slow down. I have applied for registration but have yet to receive a registration code, so I have but 1 more use left.

Icuurently run courses to help the unemployed gain IT skills. I downloaded your software via sourceforge.net with a view to recommending a freeware program to learn on that could be upgraded to a more advanced one at a later date. I have found it easy to use at a novice level and recommend it for downloading to the student\'s on the course.

Gday. First impressions ok but I didnt think the trial revealed enough to be able to comfortably buy. Escpecially when there is so much competition both shareware, freeware and buy. I am using ms FRONT PAGE for the moment till I am statisfied with an alternative.cheersMarty
